Overview:

 IMT International develops, installs and supports IT based quality management systems for IVF clinics, fertility donor banks and animal breeding centres internationally. The systems use our applications that help customers prevent mistakes, provide traceability and ensure regulatory compliance, and give operational control to them in delivery of their services.

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to manage our software development process from feature conception through to release. You will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team proving quality management solutions to IVF clinics and other assisted reproduction facilities across the globe.

You will work with our customers, distributors and internal stakeholders to take ideas and transform them into usable solutions. As an integral part of our Agile development team you will need to understand the bones of the product whilst also being able to talk and write about the features in plain, non-jargon English.

You will need excellent communication skills at all levels as well as excellent organisational skills.

The role is primarily office-based but there is the opportunity to visit customer sites globally.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage full product life cycle from conception through to implementation
  • Manage and facilitate the prioritisation of requirements with internal and external stakeholders
  • Document user stories, design mock ups and acceptance criteria
  • Be an integral part of the Agile development team contributing to the implementation of usable solutions
  • Managing relationships with third party providers and IT teams to develop interfaces
  • Manage release schedules and work with the Support team on implementation plans
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain product roadmaps
  • Document release notes and other product documentation

Experience: Essential :

  • 4+ years managing software products in a Business Analyst, IT Project Management or Product Management role including the documentation of user requirements

Experience: Desirable

  • Agile (scrum) experience would be highly beneficial
  • Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Programming / development experience including SQL Server databases
  • Competence in a foreign language would be an advantage

Location: Global role, UK-based with significant travel

Overview:

 

IMT Matcher is a quality management system specifically created for IVF clinics and donor banks in the Assisted Reproduction Technology field, to help prevent errors through the misidentification of patients and their gametes and embryos. The system comprises software and networked IT hardware, and is used throughout the clinic, including cryo stores, operating theatres and laboratories, delivering major benefits to laboratory staff, doctors, nurses and patients.

 

The Technical Sales Specialist will have responsibility for three main areas of the IMT Matcher sales cycle: initial sales demonstrations of the IMT Matcher product to prospective customers; liaison with those prospects to identify their technical requirements and optimal configuration; and post-installation customer training of the Matcher system. The position will also require attendance at international conferences and support to distributors including customer workshops/events. In addition, the successful candidate will act as an industry and ART-process expert within IMT.

Role specification:

  • Demonstrate the IMT Matcher electronic witnessing product to customers in their clinic environment, at conference/workshops and remotely (eg via webinars)
  • Answer customer questions with in-depth product knowledge, communicated strongly in the context of the customer’s SOPs
  • Prepare and deliver both verbal estimates and written quotations
  • Take the initial lead on selling the Matcher product to the customer
  • Take details of the customer’s lab and IT / network configuration to feed back to the install and support team
  • Liaise between the customer and Matcher install team to ensure that initial customer requirements have been translated into the technical specification for install
  • Determine user requirements and configure the software to customers’ specifications to closely reflect their workflows and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Act as a change consultant to set expectations and manage the efficient implementation of the Matcher system into the customer’s clinic environment and assist with validation of the system post-implementation
  • Train clinic teams (including receptionists, nurses, embryologists, lab directors, doctors and clinic owners) to use and personalise the Matcher system
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with customer accounts to gather feedback, identify and resolve problems, and make recommendations as appropriate, in conjunction with the Technical service and support team.
  • Be the ART technical voice of experience and act as advisor to the Sales and Marketing, Product Development and Service and Support teams.

Essential candidate requirements:

  • BSc degree in Biological Science
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable with presenting to both small and large international audiences
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative to resolve problems or issues
  • Hold a clean and current driving licence
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Fluent English

Desirable candidate requirements:

  • Previous experience at Lab Manager / Lab Director level within an IVF setting
  • Understanding of the Matcher electronic witnessing product and competitor products
  • Previous business experience of product demonstration and training
  • Be comfortable with IT terminology and technical concepts and able to discuss and explain them to customers
  • Understanding of traceability and labelling requirements for IVF clinics (eg EU Tissues and Cells Directive and Single European Code)
  • Experience of quality management
  • Additional languages
  • Knowledge of the animal ART industry

Location:

  • This could be a home-based role, with global travel required at least 50% of the time. It would be expected that the successful candidate would travel regularly to the IMT International office, near Chester, when not travelling abroad.

Current Vacancies: Junior IT Support Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can join our support team.  Duties within the role will include: 

- Being first line response and providing remote support to customers     

- Building bespoke hardware   

- Sending out equipment
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers
- Stock management - Excellent telephone manner

We don't need specific knowledge of our products or any specific hardware/software experience, as our systems are bespoke and full training will be provided.  We are looking for someone who can:

- Thrive working in a fast-paced environment and be able to cope with balancing the needs of different customers
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and isn't afraid of hard work
- Show a high standard of spoken & written English to enable great communication with our customers

This is an office-based role which an ideal candidate will develop within the organisation, but there will be times where travel is necessary in the UK and abroad. 

Candidates must be qualified to A-level or higher with at least a C in GCSE Maths and English, and will have a full valid driver’s licence and passport.  

Previous IT experience not essential, this is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual wanting to develop.

Competence in a foreign language would also be beneficial. There will be the opportunity to visit our global customer base.
